Ukraine is facing a severe humanitarian crisis as many people have lost their lives in the war. Recently there have been attacks on vital infrastructure facilities, including war along power lines and heating systems to homes, schools, businesses, and hospitals resulting in large-scale power outages during severe winter conditions. Millions of Ukrainians are currently without access to heat, electricity and water in sub-freezing temperatures.
During this time of urgent need, SanDISCA's Ivano-Frankivsk Friendship City is seeking your support to provide emergency relief to Ukraine. Today, 60% of the total Ukrainian energy infrastructure has been damaged, and approximately 80,000 internally displaced persons live in the City of Ivano- Frankivsk and this number is increasing every day. The people living in Ivano- Frankivsk, Ukraine are seeking emergency relief.
With your support we will bring generators and other supplies to Ivano-Frankivsk to assist with the daily living needs of the people who are living without access to essential electricity and heat during the harsh winter. The generators will be used to power various everyday appliances including heaters, lighting , phones and other electronics.
