Celebrate Panamanian Heritage at Balboa Park
The San Diego International Sister Cities Association (SANDISCA) is pleased to share an invitation from our friends at the House of Panama to attend their annual 2026 Lawn Program, celebrating the rich culture, history, and traditions of Panama.
This year’s celebration carries the inspiring theme:
“Two Frontiers, One Vision”
“Dos Fronteras, Una Visión”
Guests can enjoy an afternoon featuring:
- Traditional Panamanian folklore dance performances
- Live music
- Authentic Panamanian cuisine
- Cultural exhibits
- Community raffles
- Family-friendly activities
The event also commemorates two significant milestones:
- 250 Years of United States Independence
- 507 Years of Panamá La Vieja, one of the oldest European settlements on the Pacific coast of the Americas.
